Is the Pier going have a different shape or look different in any way?
This project will maintain both the Pier's current configuration and footprint. After its completion, the Pier will look similar to how it looks today, with improvements such as; updated decking, information boards, public art, drinking fountains with water bottle fillers, new classic coastal light poles capable of displaying banners and/or American flags, and utilities running the length of the Pier allowing for food, wine and other cultural events to be held.
