Information Technology

The Information Technology (IT) Division is part of the Administrative Department and provides IT services for the City, including implementing and managing the City's information technology network, security, and helpdesk services. The City has an IT Manager and contracts out IT services to perform various computer support services.
 
 The City has a Five-Year Technology Master Plan and is working through implementing those projects.  
 
 

SB 272 Enterprise System Catalog


Senate Bill (SB) 272 requires each local agency, as a component of compliance with the California Public Records Act, to create a catalog of its enterprise systems and post the catalog on the agency’s website. An enterprise system is defined as a software application or computer system that collects, stores, exchanges, and analyzes information that the agency uses which both contains information collected about the public, and serves as an original source of data within an agency.
